Kathryn Vivian (Easson) Langston, age 93, passed away at her home on January 20, 2020. She had the great fortune to leave from her house of 74 years; the place she, her husband, and all of her family cherished.
Kathryn was born on November 21, 1926 to Clair and Lena (Davis) Easson in Red Oak, Missouri. She was baptized as an infant and joined the Red Oak Methodist Church in 1939. She graduated from Lockwood High School in 1944. She taught at Cherry Grove School for one year.
On April 19, 1945 she married Charles B. Langston and moved to the family farm where they lived for their entire married life and raised their four children.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her daughter Susan Jean Vonier, her parents, her sister Annis Gillock, and daughter-in-law Linda Langston.
She is survived by her son Charles, Jr. of Lockwood, her son David (Patricia) on the family farm, her daughter Lillian Andrade (Jorge) of St. Louis; nine grandchildren Kasey Langston, Paula Jo Wall (Russell), Kristopher Vonier (India), Christian Andrade (Misti), Darrin Langston (Audrey), Lisa Vonier McGuire (Josh), Lorenzo Andrade, Paul Langston (Gina), Daniel Langston (Christy), fifteen great grandchildren, her sister Ruth Neill (John) and brother Sheldon Easson both of Lockwood, and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Langston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
