Nola May Clark, age 92, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center.
Nola was born January 12, 1928 in Joplin, Missouri, daughter of the late Burge Pendley and Vesta Austin Pendley.
She married Claud Ernest Clark on September 3, 1944, in Columbus, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2003.
Nola spent many years in Costa Mesa, California where she worked at Hartley Pen Company. She then returned to Joplin where she was a homemaker.
Nola enjoyed watching sports, NASCAR, golf and football were her favorites. She also loved music and attending Keith Urban concerts with her family. She was kind hearted and had a wittiness about her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Nola was also preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Nola is survived by her children, Ken Clark and wife, Delaine, Joplin, Missouri, Sharon Wilson and husband, David, Carthage, Missouri, Rick Clark and wife, Lori, Joplin, Missouri, Dan Clark and wife, Shelley, Saginaw, Missouri; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Saginaw Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
