(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)A beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Kimberly Nicole Childers left this world unexpectedly at 31 on May 19,2021.
Born in Denver Colorado July 19,1989 to Lloyd & Sheila (Smith) Childers, Kimberly grew up in Webb City, where she graduated Webb City High School.
Kimberly enjoyed bowling, listening to music, and recently taking up an interest in Nascar, but nothing compared to love for her daughter Athena and her Denver Broncos football team. Kimberly loved so many, and was loved by so many more. She had an energy that with even just one encounter with her, you would remember her for life. If you knew her well or barely at all, she always left you thinking. Whether it was about how absolutely beautiful, ridiculously funny or just down right inappropriate she was, she left her mark.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sheila (Smith) Childers, grandparents Jimmy Smith & Jim Patrick. Kimberly is survived by her loving daughter Athena, her dad Lloyd Childers and wife Heather of Webb City, sister Joni Germaine and husband Keith, Brother David Hawkins and wife Summer all of Denver, Brother Travis Childers, step-siblings K’Le Wilson & Kage Coffman all of Webb City. Grandmothers Wanda Patrick & Pat Smith, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life: Thursday, June 3rd at 5-8 pm Royal Heights Church (2107 Utica St. Joplin, MO)
