(From Ozark Funeral Home)Thomas William Mitchell, 72 years, of Lanagan, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Thomas was born on August 2, 1948 in Montrose, California. He worked as a truck driver in California; Hudson Foods in Noel, Missouri and picked up scrap metal up until his death.
Thomas enjoyed motorcycles, trucks, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He liked country, bluegrass and gospel music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Dessie Mitchell, William and Virginia Warren; three brothers, Willard, Leonard and Charlie Warren; sister, Judy Robles.
Thomas is survived by his children, Andrea Pritchett of Clovis, California, Eric Bennett and wife, Jennifer of Noel, Missouri, Kenny Bennett of Mitchell, Missouri and Brian Klein of Virginia; grandchildren, Katie, Joseph, Harly, Izzabella, Emaly Faith, Keenan, Kiara and Avery; great grandchildren, Joshua, Ashton and Aiden; brothers, Carl Warren and wife, Ginger of Southwest City, Missouri, Ralph Warren of Lanagan, Missouri, William Warren and wife, Dina of Southwest City, Missouri; brother-in-law, Marcelo Robles; sisters, Dessie B. Mitchell and husband, Terry of Neosho, Missouri, Dessie Ortiz of Tecumseh, Kansas, Mary Alphin of Noel, Missouri and Kathy Teague of Neosho, Missouri; many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and cards, memorial contributions may be given to the Noel Fire Department at 505 North Cliffside Drive, Noel, Missouri 64854, in loving memory of Thomas Mitchell.
