(From Parker Mortuary)Wyatt Randall Uitts, age 8, of Neosho, passed away suddenly with his father, James, on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Wyatt was born May 30, 2012 in Joplin to James and Jessica Uitts. He was a 3rd grade student at Central Elementary in Neosho. Wyatt developed a love for learning thanks to his wonderful school para, Megan. Her dedication made a true and lasting difference in his ability to learn.
Wyatt loved all things a typical 8-year-old boy would love – Minecraft, building with Legos, and cars. He loved his big brother, Adrian, more than anything. Wyatt was animated, simple, fun, and always happy. He was always social and had many friends that will greatly miss him.
Wyatt was preceded in death by his mother, Jessica, and his grandmother, Deborah Uitts.
Survivors include his four brothers, Adrian Moody of Neosho, Nate Buckner of Jacksonville, Florida, Matthew Uitts (Shianne) and Anthony Uitts, all of Falls City, Nebraska; his grandfather, James Uitts, Sr., of Joplin; his grandmother, Marsha Waugh (Larry Jr.), of Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Harp (Dustin) of Neosho, Tiffney Knipe (Tom Meyers) of Glenwood, Iowa, Gina Hall (Carl), Larry Waugh, III (Janet), Amanda Ruegg (Kenny), and Benjamin Waugh (Amanda) all of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Melissa Waugh of Pueblo, Colorado; nieces and nephews, Emely Buckner, Nathanel Buckner, Purity Yoesel, and Damien Uitts; his close cousins and best friends, Dayton and Dexton Harp; as well as a host of other cousins, extended family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Todd Decker officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
