(From Ozark Funeral Home)Doris Jean Smith, 64, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She began her journey on November 5, 1956 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to the late Melvin and Frankie (Warren) Hall and step-dad, Kenneth Drake. Doris worked for Tyson’s foods as a USDA Food Inspector. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, music and dancing. Doris cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and family.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia Martin and Linda Smith and a brother, Kenneth Hall.
Doris is survived by her children, Kenna Kissire of Jay, Oklahoma, Chad Smith of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Chelsea Harvey and husband, Korrey of Gentry, Arkansas; siblings, Debbie Smith and husband, Mike of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Melvia Hall of Pourm, Oklahoma, Mindy Freeman of Carthage, Missouri; grandchildren, Taylor Kissire, Arreann Kissire, Carson Kissire, Macy Smith, Myla Smith, Chevy Smith, Damian Harvey, Eligh Harvey, Charlie Harvey, Hayden Harvey, Kolten Harvey and Korbyn Clark; great grandchildren, Brinnleigh Drake, Jamison Drake and Audrey Blevins; as well as a host of family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Doris.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Pastor Mike Frye will officiate.
