(From Clark Funeral Home)Augusta Vance Webb, age 95 of Seneca, Missouri, entered into rest in the comfort of her home on April 24, 2022. She was born on June 27, 1926, in El Dorado, Kansas, one of five children to Joseph David and Winnie (Higginbotham) Vance.
Augusta moved to the Seneca area in 1961 and was a licensed cosmetologist and a truck driver until her retirement in 2002. She enjoyed traveling, going to auctions and cooking for her family. She was a member of the Seneca Assembly of God Church.
Augusta and Carl Edwin Webb were married on June 25, 1949, at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2002.
She is survived by three children, Carla Parrish and husband, Mark of Biloxi, Mississippi, Joe Webb and wife, Malo of McAllister, Oklahoma and Susan Wallace and husband, Ron of Seneca, Missouri and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two grandchildren.
Funeral services for Augusta will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 1 pm at the Seneca Assembly of God Church in Seneca, Missouri, Truman Brady will officiate. Interment will follow in the Seneca Cemetery.
