(From Parker Mortuary)Becky Sue McCloud, age 70, Joplin, MO, entered her heavenly home after battling a short illness on Monday, April 25, 2022.
Becky was born February 24, 1952 in Jasper County, MO, to the late union of Roy William Simon and Freda Maye (Hylton) Simon.
Becky grew up in Webb City, Joplin, and Kansas. She last worked as a chef for Red Lobster. She enjoyed playing video games and her go to game was Tetris.
She adored her grandchildren and spoiled them tremendously. She was always going the extra mile for her family. She loved to swim and listen to oldie’s music. She was an active member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” McCloud.
Becky is survived by her children, Nicole Miller (Richard), James Inman, and Johnny Inman, all of Joplin; four grandchildren, Breanna Miller, Nicolas Miller, Hunter Newcomer, Iliahna Inman, and one on the way.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Parker Mortuary for funeral expenses.
