(From Simpson Funeral Home)Roy Mark Pittman, Sr. age 64 of Monett, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born in Joplin, Missouri on September 26, 1957 to Cecil Pittman and Ruby (Roller) Pittman. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for most of his life.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Teresa (Riley) Pittman, a son, Mark Pittman, Jr.; and a brother, Don Pittman.
He is survived by a son, Shane Pittman and wife Angel of Carthage; a sister, Patricia Crandall and husband Albert of Joplin; 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Mark’s wishes were to be cremated and the family will have memorial services at a later date.
