(From Walnut Lawn Funeral Home)Betty Jo Goodall, age 91, of Battlefield, Missouri, passed away April 27, 2022, at her home in Battlefield. Betty was born in Independence, Missouri, to Rolla Dale Weber and Hazel McCormick Weber on May 24, 1930.
She attended Verona High School and graduated in 1948. She later attended Joplin Junior College. After her children were grown and had left home; Betty worked for H & R Block and Bass Pro Shops.
Betty married Elbert Ray Goodall in November 1950. The couple were blessed with three children, Richard Alan, Pamela Wyvone and Douglas Ray.
Betty’s parents, Rolla and Hazel; and her daughter Pamela preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by her husband, Ray; son, Richard and wife Denise of Deland, FL; son Douglas and wife Judi of Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren Zac, Justin, Mallory, Tyna, Mariah and Boyd; and three great grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed bowling, cards, reading and working word puzzles. Her greatest joy was her children followed by her cats (Sassy, Smoky, Petey and Muffy).
Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield, MO.
