(From Clark Funeral Home)Beverley Jane “Bev” Stuart, age 60, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022, with family by her side. She was born July 20, 1961, to MC “Sandy” and Thara June (Medlock) Sanders.
Bev was a Neosho High School graduate and a member of the First Congregational Church. She worked for Sale Hospital in Neosho in accounting and as an aide, for Newton County Dispatch, and the Newton County Health Department.
In 2000, Bev went to work for the Newton County Circuit Clerk’s office. At the Clerk’s Office she wore many hats and due to her hard work was accepted into the court manager program. She proudly became a Chief Deputy Clerk for the courts retiring in 2020. Following her retirement, she worked for her sister and brother-in-law at Midwest Nitrogen Service as their office manager.
Bev was steadfast in her faith, a gift which brought her much strength as she fell ill. She enjoyed, crocheting, gardening, reading her Bible, but most of all spending time with her family.
Bev will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Nick Stuart; her mother, Thara Sanders; one sister Thara “Sis” Little and her husband, Robert all of Neosho; two brothers, Michael Sanders and his significant other, Dorothy Payne, of Highlandville, Missouri, and Mark Sanders and his significant other, Sandra Hulsey, of Neosho; her beloved partner of sixteen years, Fernando Rios, of Neosho; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her father preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho with Dawayne Lasiter officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Bev will be interred at the Neosho IOOF Cemetery at a later date.
