Teresa Mustain

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Teresa Mae (Reed) “Watkins” Mustain, 75, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at her home.

She entered this life on January 19, 1947, in Yates Center, Kansas, born to the late Finnis Oakley Reed and Valletta Arlene “Darlene” (Keene) Reed.

She was married to Perry Elden Watkins for over 30 years and together they had three children. Teresa was a member of Exciting Living Word Fellowship Church in Anderson, Missouri. Her church family was very dear to her.

She was a very hard worker her entire life. She loved tending to her flowers and spending time outdoors. Puzzles were one of her favorite past times to keep her occupied.

Laughter is always good medicine, and you would often find her laughing and kidding around. Her greatest joy was her family who she would do anything for and could never spend enough time with. Teresa did not know a stranger and was always encouraging those around her.

Grandma TT, A.K.A LaLa, spoiled all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her tuna sandwiches, orange slices and cookies will be missed, especially when she would sneak them to them.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Finnis and Valletta “Darlene” Reed; her husband, Perry Watkins, infant son Perry Jr.; and infant great-granddaughter, Harlee Jo Meyer.

She is survived by her son, Cecil Joseph Borjas and wife, Lisa of Ottawa; her daughter, Deborah Suann Woodworth and husband, Scott of Anderson, Mo; her sisters, Anna Redd, and husband Henry, of Canal Point, Florida, Liz Hillis and husband, Arbie, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, and Vickie Dyal and husband, Waymon, of Smithville, Tennessee; her brothers, Terry Reed, and wife Barbara, of Pahokee, Florida, Terrell Reed, and wife Inez, of Harlan, Kentucky, Larry Reed, of Okeechobee, Florida, Darrell Reed, of Okeechobee, Florida, and Finnis Oakley Jr., of Michigan; Five grandchildren, Cori and Elena Borjas, of El Dorado, Kansas, Carl and Maria Woodworth, of Anderson, Missouri, Jasper and Lance Moyer, of Ottawa, Kansas, and Justin Woodworth and Risa Buckner, of Anderson, Missouri, Kayla and Matt Sessions, of Ottawa, Kansas; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Teresa.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement. As Teresa always said, “Love you later!” and never goodbye.
