Bessie Seay

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Bessie Gail Seay, age 65, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 2:42 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at her home. She was born August 31, 1956, in Ava, Missouri to the late Harold L. Call and Betty L. (Turner) Brown.

Bessie attended High School in Ava and graduated from Crowder College as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She has resided in Neosho for the past 40 years.

Bessie formerly worked for the Newton County Ambulance District; however, her greatest success was surviving breast cancer. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, reading, and most of all spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three children, Julie Grubb and her husband, Nate, of Webb City, Missouri; Bill Thompson of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Michael Harmon and his wife, Sarah, also of Webb City; three sisters, Elaine King, Becky Penrod, and Darlene Green; one brother, Tom Call; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, her son, Bryan Harmon; two brothers, Jamie and David Call and an infant brother, who passed at birth, preceded her in death.

Arrangements have been conducted by the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. A private family service will be held at a later date.
