Douglas E. Murray, 61, Carthage, MO, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO. Douglas Eugene Murray was born November 24, 1954 in Carthage, MO to Eugene Murray and Shirley Murray. He graduated from Carthage High School, Class of 1972. He then went on to Crowder College for two years and earned a degree in chemistry. Douglas worked as a welder for Ireco. He was a Christian by faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Casey Murray, Kansas City, MO; a son Cole Murray, Joplin, MO; and three sisters, Denise Rohr, Dana Housh, and Donya Murray.
