Mr. Jimmie Ray Rogers, 87, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Monday morning, August 22, 2016, at The Communities of Wildwood Ranch in Joplin, Missouri, after a brief illness.
Jimmie entered this life on May 16, 1929, in Anderson, Missouri, one of four children born to the late Polly and Beulah (Chandler) Rogers. At the age of twenty-two he was drafted into the Minor Leagues by the St. Louis Cardinals as a pitcher during the 1951 and 52 seasons.
