Gwynneth “Gwynn” Mlle Charron, age 69, of Swansea, IL passed away August 17 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL. The daughter of Thomas and Lois Pigg, she was born October 24, 1946 in Joplin, MO. Gwynneth graduated from Duenweg High School in 1963, and then completed Joplin Business College. She moved to the Middle Island area of Long Island, NY in 1979. She worked as a bookkeeper and cashier for King Kullen Grocery for 29 years, was a member of the UFCW Local 1500, and retired September 2015.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter Tammy Charron Donaldson and son-in-law Kyle Donaldson of Belleville, IL.
Gwynneth was an avid animal lover and supporter of animals. The family suggests contributions to The Humane Society.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday August 20, 2016 at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery Joplin, MO. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
