Henrietta Prock

Henrietta Prock, age 93 of Joplin, passed away at 6:06 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.

Henrietta was born September 15, 1922 in Joplin to the late Claude T. Musgrave and Laura Alice Trammell Musgrave and had lived in Joplin most of her life.

She was a 1940 graduate of Joplin High School and was a licensed beautician. She owned and operated Henrietta's Beauty Salon for many years, retiring in 2006 at the age of 84. Henrietta was a faithful member of Forest Park Baptist Church, where she was active with Sunday school.

In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis W. Hall, who died in World War II.

Henrietta married Floyd Leonard Prock on February 19, 1948 in Aurora, Missouri. He survives at the home.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Susan Elaine Prock, Estero, Florida.

Services are planned for Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Dr. John Swadley will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time Thursday at the mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
