Loretta A. Vickers, age 80 of Carterville, Mo passed way Friday August 12, 2016 at her home. She was born on December 10, 1935 the daughter of Frank and Lizzie “Lamb” Pequignot. She married the love of her life Joe Vickers on February 23, 1970 in Carl Junction, Mo, he preceded her in death on September 23, 2007. Loretta enjoyed being outside, loved her flowers and to go fishing and especially loved her family.
Loretta was also preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons; Mike Vickers and wife Jean of Webb City, Mo, and Tony Vickers and wife Britni of Webb City, Mo five daughters; Beth Duggar and husband Les of Joplin, Mo, Melissa Hyche of Lawrenceburg, Tn, Beverly Hallam and husband Henry of Grove, Ok, Leona Brittle of Webb City, Mo and Tammy Jo Lynch and husband Steve of Fairland, Ok, a sister Emereda House of Des Moines, Ia, and several grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday August 16, 2016 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory. Burial will follow in the Webb City Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Monday at the Mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society in care of the Mortuary.
