Salmon Rehobson

Mr. Saimon Rehobson, 69, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at his residence after a long battle with diabetes.

Saimon entered this life on May 5, 1947, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, son of the late Inderehiel Rehobson and Liwiana Alik. He was raised in Pohnpei and attended college in Guam. He worked in Saipan for several years as a financial consultant for the department of education. He moved to Goodman, Missouri, in 1996. Saimon was a member of the First Micronesian Church of Christ in Goodman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pihner Rehobson in 2001; and several brothers and sisters.

Saimon is survived by his two children, Rosina Benjamin and husband, Peter Kamihara and Kurt Rehobson and wife, Grace Lynn Edmond, all of Neosho, Missouri; four grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Rehobson are 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the First Micronesian Church of Christ in Goodman, Missouri. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Howard Cemetery in Goodman, Missouri. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
