John T. “Tommy” Nix, 57, of Greenfield passed at Saturday August 6, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Tommy was born September 21, 1958 in Salina, Kansas. He was the son of Harvey B. Nix and Helen M. “Main” Nix. Tommy was a veteran of the United States Army. He had lived in Greenfield for the past 25 years. Tommy was a truck driver for D & D Sexton of Carthage for 26 years. Tommy is survived by one son, Sean Thomas Nix of Springfield, MO, one brother; Ron Nix of Junction City, KS and two sisters; Ruth L. Black of Joplin and Mary L. Nix of Webb City, MO, one granddaughter, Seren Evangeline Nix.
