John "Matt" Stow, age 48, of Stotts City, MO died on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Carthage Health & Rehab Center in Carthage, MO as a result of an auto accident in 2004 near Freistatt, MO. Mr. Stow was born in Kansas City, MO on Wednesday, June 05, 1968. He was the son of John and Mary (Turner) Stow. Mr. Stow was a graduate of Pierce City, MO. He married Donna Howerton on Tuesday, December 15, 1992, in Miami, OK.
Surviving are the following: his wife, Donna of the home; one son, Tyler Stow of Stotts City, MO; his dad and mother, John and Mary Stow of Wentworth, MO; one brother, Andy Stow of Wentworth, MO; and one niece, Andrea Stow of Wentworth, MO.
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Sunday, August 14, 2016, from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Funeral services will be at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Monday, August 15, 2016, beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Darin Brannon officiating. Burial will follow at VanBuren Cemetery in Wentworth, MO.
