Tom Gilbreath

Thomas “Tom” Gilbreath passed away August 19, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri. Tom was born December 22, 1954 in Carthage, Missouri to William O. and Irene Garrison Gilbreath. Tom was a lifetime Carthage resident and raised beef cattle. He also owned and operated Carthage Pump Supply, recently retired.

Tom was united in marriage to Barbara Dodd on March 9, 1974 at the First United Methodist Church in Joplin, Missouri; she survives. Tom is survived by two brothers, Frank Gilbreath and Wes Gilbreath and wife Janice, two nieces, three nephews, six great nieces and one great nephew. Memorial services will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Carthage, Missouri at a later date.

Contributions may be made to the Margaret Grove Scholarship Fund, the Mark Gilbreath Scholarship Fund or St. Ann’s School in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
