Juanita Pliler, age 91, of Granby, Mo., passed away peacefully Monday, August 8, 2016, following an illness.
Juanita was born on June 14, 1925 in Corrillos, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Antonio Rael and Ricarda Lougan.
Juanita was one of fourteen children living in a Spanish speaking home in New Mexico. She taught herself English without any help. She was a hard worker but always enjoying life. She loved her children and grandchildren. She loved working outside in the yard and with her flowers. She loved all animals especially her cats and dogs. Juanita loved to dance, especially Polka, she would go dancing every weekend.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Moore and husband Mike Moore of Miami, OK, and Pat Mitchell of Commerce, OK. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 prior to the service at 2:00 pm at the Mason-Woodard Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
