Mary Louise (Cook) Price, age 83, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 12, 2016 after a short illness.
Mary was born on January 19, 1933 in Tulsa OK to Bryan and Thelma (Long) Cook.
On August 22, 1951, “Cookie” married her high school sweetheart, Carroll Max Price, who preceded her in death.
Mary happily spent most of her adult life in the full-time job of caring for her home and family. She also worked at Tyson Foods in Monett MO then at La-Z-Boy Furniture Company in Neosho MO, where she was a Lead Lady in the Sewing Department. She enjoyed retirement for many years before joining the workforce again by becoming a Customer Service Representative at Scholastic Book Clubs in Neosho MO.
Mary was an active member of Fairview Methodist Church for many years and later served as a founding member at Newton County Christian Fellowship.
In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters.
Survivors include seven children – Pamela Dart, Webb City MO; Deborah Billings, Melinda Lewis, and Joseph Price, all of Joplin MO; Mark Price, Granby MO; David Price and James Price, Stark City MO. Additional survivors include 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
