Nancy ‘Nan’ Hines, 79, Granby, passed away August 19, 2016 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born January 17, 1937 in Longview, Missouri, the daughter of Jesse and Twyla ‘Tod’ (Cox) Richardson. Nan was a lifelong area resident and had owned and operated Nan’s Hair Affair in Granby. She had been a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church since 1962 and had served in many positions within the church.
Nan married Ray Hines on July 2, 1955 in Longview, Missouri and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1979. She is survived by three daughters, Lana Schouweiler and husband, Pete of Reno, NV, Susan Cook and husband, Steve of Granby, MO and Marti Ewing and husband, Kevin of Neosho, MO; sister, Dottie Brock and husband, Charles of Neosho, MO; sister-in-law, Patti Richardson of Tallahassee, FL; seven grandchildren, Geoff Cook and wife, Bonnie of Granby, MO, Ryan Hopkins and wife, Kim of Reno, NV, Justin Camerer and wife, Trudi of Joplin, MO, Sara Melson and husband, Chris of Carthage, MO, Amanda Camerer of Fayetteville, AR, T.J. Mason and wife, Emily of Bakersfield, CA and Sam Schouweiler and wife, Melyssa of Reno, NV; four great grandchildren, Chase, Riley, Kennedy and baby Connor due in October and special friends, Connie Vance of Granby, MO and Brendon, Lacy, Brodie and Ella Lammers of Neosho, MO. In addition to her husband, Nan is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Wilson; brother, Joe Richardson and special little friend, Graydon Lammers.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Granby, MO.
