June Ella Linton, 73, Quapaw, Oklahoma, died August 20, 2016 at her home.
She was born July 17, 1943 in Newtonia, Missouri, the daughter of Homer James and Pauline (Barrett) Smith. June was homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed cooking for everyone. She married Leon Linton and he preceded her in death.
June is survived by five children, Lori Embrey and husband, Bruce of Warrensburg, MO, Bobby Linton ‘Angel’ of Granby, Sandy Shields of Anderson, Mike Linton of Neosho and Karla Tynon and husband, Steven of Quapaw, OK; daughter-in-law, Karen Clark of Granby; two sisters, Marcella Treece and husband, Troy of South Padre Island, TX and Anna Faye Carter and friend, Fred Caviness and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, June is preceded in death by her son, Eddie Clark.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Granby, MO.
