Jerry Albert Lee, age 71, passed away at 5:55 pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Carrington Place, Pittsburg, KS following an illness.
Jerry was born July 2, 1946 in Jasper County, MO. His parents were Leonard Albert and Sarah Elizabeth (Baggett) Lee. He was a lifetime resident of the Carterville-Webb City area.
He last worked for the City of Webb City Street Department retiring December 2006. He loved to repair broken things, especially working on old cars. His greatest interests were loving his cats and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Mary Lee, and one sister, Joyce Berliew.
He is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Smith, Pittsburg, KS; one nephew, Randy Bogle Jr, Clearwater FL; and 5 nieces, Faith Smith, Pittsburg, Brandie Nading, Columbus, KS, Mary Rolf, Nixa, MO, Kelly Berliew, Salem, MA, and Shelly Berliew, Joplin, MO.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS.
Burial of ashes will be at 10:00 am, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena, KS. Rev. Max Rainey will officiate.
