Robert Lee Mentzer, Granby, MO, passed away May 4, 2018 at the age of 67 years, 9 months, and 2 days.
He was born Aug. 2, 1950 in Granby, MO to Chester and Ellen A. (Elkins) Mentzer. Robert was a lifelong area resident. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
Robert married Kathyrn Louise (Jones) Mentzer on Feb. 11, 1998 in Miami, OK; she preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 2008. He is survived by a sister, Linda McClendon and husband, Ed of Neosho; a niece, Rebecca Mallory and husband, Mike of Neosho; a great nephew and a great niece, Presley and Kayla Mallory. In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by a niece, Regina McClendon.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be held 1:00 pm, Wed., May 9, 2018 at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby, MO.
