Virgil Max Naramore, 78, Neosho, entered into rest April 27, 2018.
Virgil was born Sept. 27, 1939 at the family home in Longview, MO, to Joseph Price and Martha Carolyn (Schell) Naramore. He was a graduate of Wheaton High School, and in 1970, graduated Harrison School of Preaching. He served as a minister for the Church of Christ in AR, MO, and CA and was the owner of Max’s Bakery in MO and TX for 20 years. Virgil enjoyed classical music, antiques, and flowers. He is survived by the mother of his children, Nyla Naramore of Lufkin, TX; his three children: Virgil Blain Naramore of Longview, TX, Ronnie Max Naramore and wife, Kelly of Lufkin, TX, and Tara Renee Naramore of Nacogdoches, TX; and five grandchildren: Ashley Taylor Wolhof, Payton Michael Wolhof, Harry Blain Ruckel, Natalie Naramore, and Samantha Naramore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Price and Carolyn Naramore and an infant brother, Joseph Price Naramore, II.
Services will be 10 am, Saturday, May 5 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with Larry Carlisle officiating. Private interment will follow the services. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 pm, Friday, May 4 at Clark Funeral Home.
