Bobbie Tuggle

Barbara “Bobbie” Loreen Tuggle, 79, Neosho, MO passed away July 3, 2019 after an extended illness. Bobbie was born March 4, 1940 in Neosho to Ira Sherman and Susie May (Hickman) Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of the Neosho area.

Bobbie was a member of the first nursing program graduation class at Crowder College and was valedictorian of her class. She worked as an LPN for over 32 years, first at Sale Memorial Hospital, then Freeman Hospital in Neosho, and later at numerous nursing homes. 

Bobbie was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. She enjoyed doing ceramics and collecting knick-knacks. She also loved taking care of everyone, and Christmas was her favorite time of year. 










Bobbie and Wayne L. Tuggle were married May 24, 1958; he preceded her in death on August 25, 1999. She is survived by one son, Michael Tuggle; one brother, Jerry R. Wilson and wife, Sharon; two sisters, Virginia “Ginni” Curry, and Billie Hutchings; one grandson, Malcom Tuggle and wife, Katrina; two great grandchildren, Clark Gunlock Jackson and Parker Tuggle; one special niece, Susan VanLue; and numerous other nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband, Bobbie was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Tuggle and one granddaughter, Samantha Rae Tuggle.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO. Contributions may be made to Crowder College Nursing Program c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
