John David Williams, 63, Granby, MO passed away July 6, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born April 14, 1956 in Springfield, MO to John Edward and Daisy Joan (Ritter) Williams.
John was a lifelong resident of the Granby and Ritchey area. He was a self-employed residential carpenter and a member of the Ritchey Bible Holiness Church. John enjoyed refinishing furniture, hanging out with friends, and fishing.
He and Debbie Noland were married May 16, 1996 in Miami, OK; she survives of the home.
John is also survived by his mother, Joan Williams of Ritchey; two children, Michael David Williams of Granby, and Michael Cody Williams and partner, Ian Russell of Pine Mt., GA; one brother, Dan Williams and wife Tammy of Ritchey; one brother-in-law, Gary Ankney of Calhoun, AZ; three sisters, Patty Washington and husband, Alvin of Mesa, AZ, Joyce Adams and husband, Jeff of Cleveland, OK, and Kathy Courtney and her companion, Bob Hurn of Granby; two grandchildren, Blake Williams and his significant other, Julia Bowman, and Brett Williams; one great grandchild, Logan Williams; and one great grandchild on the way. John was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Williams and one sister, Carol Ann Ankney.
Graveside services will be held 11 am, Friday, July 12, 2019 at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, Newtonia, MO, with Reverend Brad Farless officiating.
