Sharon Wheeler

Sharon Kay Wheeler, age 69, of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 6, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Wheeler, daughter of Ray and Edna (Hazelwood) Brown, was born on September 23, 1949, in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was a Wheaton High school graduate and remained a lifelong resident of the area.

 On April 9, 1971, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Wheeler in Neosho. Sharon loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. She was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Bill Wheeler, of Wheaton; two daughters, Jennifer Kahl and her husband Joe, of Portland, Oregon, and Heather Harriman and her husband Stacey, of Rocky Comfort; her mother, Edna Brown, of Exeter; five grandchildren, Matthew, Shelby, and Jacob Obermann, Katelyn Gooder, and Logan Harriman; two brothers, Gary Brown and his wife Karen, of Monett, and Keith Brown and his wife Debbie, of Wheaton; one sister, Evelyn Brattin, of Exeter; and several nieces and nephews.








Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Ray Brown.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Pastor Tony Ball officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Creason Cemetery in Ridgeley, Missouri.

Service arrangements and cremation are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
