Corey Webb Hailey was born in Bartlesville, OK on July 20, 1982. He attended school in Stillwater, and Cushing, OK. He settled in Joplin, MO in 2003 until his death. He worked as a Mill Wright (a job which he really enjoyed) until he became ill with COPD in 2018. He is survived by his four children, Gaberial, Riley, Nigel, and Arianna; his mother Jean, and one sister Tea Porter of Idaho.
Corey lived life on his terms and was surrounded by many loving friends. He passed Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 37 when his heart stopped.
He loved anything outdoors and his beloved creek, but mostly, he loved spending time with the people he loved.
There will be an outdoor memorial at Zan's Creekside on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a float trip to spread his ashes. All who loved him are welcome to attend. Please bring your best "Corey" stories.
