Betty Combs

Betty L. Combs, 78, Neosho, died January 7, 2015 at her home, following an extended illness. Betty was born July 3, 1936 in Webb City, MO, the daughter of Russell and Florence (Lawson) Black. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a cashier at Dave's Super Stop for many years. She enjoyed cooking and was of the Baptist faith. Betty married Charles W. Combs and he preceded her in death on January 29, 2003. She is survived by four children, Charles Terry Combs of Westville, OK; Rick Alan Combs of Joplin; Michael Gene Combs of Sierra Vista, AZ and Conni Lynn Patterson and husband, David of Neosho; two brothers, Rex Black and Ronnie Black, both of Joplin; two sisters, Judy Martin of Carthage and Janie Robbins of Duenweg; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
