DeWayne Denefrio

DeWayne Denefrio, 92, Neosho, died January 26, 2015 at Seneca House Nursing Home, following an illness. 

DeWayne was born Feb. 17, 1922 in Blue Jacket, OK and lived most of her life in the southwest Missouri area. DeWayne worked at Big Smith, Ben Franklin and was a homemaker. She married Patsy Michael Denefrio on Nov. 21, 1942 in Neosho and he preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1997.

 DeWayne is survived by four children, Michael Denefrio and wife, Euleda and Richard Denefrio and wife, Calleen of Neosho; Patricia Evans and husband, Earl of Gloucester, VA and David Denefrio of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Jeff, Tim, Terry, Todd and Matt Denefrio, Vicki Wargo, Stephen Scribner, Staci Lown, Jenny Savage and Katie Evans; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Carole, great grandson, Alex; two brothers, Otis Hopkins and Howard Hopkins and sister, Ruby Winchester.
