Keith Edwin Sweeten age 67 of Webb City, MO passed away Thursday January 8, 2015 at his home.
He was born on January 3, 1948 in Joplin, MO the son of Jack and Bobbie ‘Swift’ Sweeten. Keith was a veteran serving his country with the United States Army. He married Brenda Ramsey on January 22, 1965 they were divorced and later remarried on December 20, 2010. Keith worked as a machinist for Ozark Machine Co. He was a member of the Central Christian Center and was very strong in his faith. He enjoyed fishing, reading westerns and loved his family.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home, four sons: Brian Sweeten, Darren Cruzan, Russ Cruzan and Aaron Brown; two daughters Tammy Benson and Mandy Sweeten; twelve grandchildren Kensi Sweeten, Cody Sweeten, Ashley Sweeten, Kayden Sweeten, Stephanie Benson, Valerie Fazio, Holly Tucker, Jenna Wittmer, Julia Trokey, Jessica Cruzan, Hannah Cruzan and Madison Cruzan and one great granddaughter Haley Stephens.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday January 12, 2015 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory with Dr. Hank Deslatte and Pastor Doug Wilkerson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Southwest City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Sunday at the mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the Mercy Hospice in care of the Mortuary.
