Geneva Jenkins Hinchey, 91, Neosho, Missouri, formerly of Knoxville, TN, died January 14, 2015 in Neosho, following an illness.
Geneva was born November 23, 1923 in Knoxville, the daughter of Arlie and Nancy Jenkins. She worked at Miller’s Department Store for many years and moved to Neosho in 2007 from Knoxville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Blue Grass, TN and while living in Neosho, attended the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ.
Geneva is survived by a son, Dana Hinchey and wife, Diane of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Carol Kruse and husband, Denny of Neosho; three grandchildren, Jason Hinchey, Keri Thompson and James Kruse; four great grandchildren, Addison Hinchey, Jackson Hinchey, Christopher Thompson and Kruse Thompson and her twin sister, Gleneva Grigsby of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Fannie Lumpkin and Annie Cox and three brothers, Fred Jenkins, Arlie Jenkins, Jr. and Eugene Jenkins.
