Mrs. Delma Faye Rea, age 91, of Oronogo, Missouri passed away at her home on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at 7:30 pm. Mrs. Rea was born on July 25, 1923 in Nashville, Missouri to Charlie Scott and Dora Berry Scott.
Survivors include her husband Charles D. Rea to whom she was married on September 17, 1945 in Columbus, Kansas and he survives of the home, additional survivors include a daughter Linda Leaming and husband Henry of Jasper, Missouri, sisters Lillian Ward of Joplin and Freda Garretson of Webb City, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Rea was preceded in death by her daughter Joyce Pitts, a brother Homer Scott and a sister Thelma Collier.
Funeral services will be on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City, the family will receive friends preceding the funeral from 1 PM – 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Nashville (MO) cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Henry Leaming, Lynn Pitts, Mark Leaming, Jeremiah Leaming, Justin Honey, Doug Pitts and Isaac Honey.
