Charline Marie ‘Charlie’ Cope, age 37, Joplin, passed away Monday morning, January 5, 2015 at her home after a sudden illness.
Charlie was born September 6, 1977 in Granata Hills, California and had lived in Joplin since 1989.
She was a licensed cosmetologist and had worked as a manager at both Express and Victoria’s Secret at Northpark Mall. Charlie enjoyed decorating and one of her favorite past times was shopping. She attended Ignite Church in Joplin.
Charlie married Tyrone Cope in 2011 in Joplin. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include her children, Terin Koehler, Avery Koehler, Cruz Anthony Cope, Ace Robert Cope, Bentley Rain Cope, all of Joplin; a granddaughter, Adelyn Jones; her parents, Robert Anaya and his wife, Sheryl McIntire, Seneca, Rose Anaya and her husband, Tom Tombs, Santa Clarita, California; a sister, Alicia Hillman, Joplin; maternal grandparents, Tony and Rose Martinez, Santa Clarita, California; paternal grandmother, Irene Anaya, Wyandotte, Oklahoma; nieces, Desirae Anaya and Belin Anaya; a nephew, Andrew Hillman; and mother and father in-law, Donna and Gerald Cope, Aurora.
Services are planned for Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Shane Munn, Minister, will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colt Davis, Ryan Sparlin, Matt Carr, Colton Jones and Greg Jameson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
