Maher Ali Abu-Libdeh, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2015.
Maher was born in Joplin on April 17, 1987. He graduated from Joplin High School and then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and was pursuing his PhD.
Maher is survived by his father, Ali J. Abu-Libdeh, M.D.; his mother, Hikmat; girlfriend, Eden Womble; sisters, Reem, Maha and Rana; nephew, Emmet.
A visitation is planned at Parker Mortuary, Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and internment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Joplin.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
