Arthur Parker

Arthur Leslie Parker, 77, Granby, MO passed away November 19, 2019 after a short illness. He was born to Donald R. and Josie L. (Baily) Parker on December 13, 1941 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Arthur lived in the Granby area since 1951 and graduated from Granby High School in 1963. Arthur and Vicki L. McCamish were married on August 10, 1973 in Neosho, MO at the Newton County Courthouse by Judge England. 

Arthur has had many positions in his life; he worked for the Neosho cab company as a taxi driver, then moved to the Newton County special road district. After that, he worked for La-Z-Boy Midwest for forty years. He worked hard every day of his life to support the family he loved so very much. 








Arthur is survived by his wife of 46 years, Vicki; two sons, Roger L. Parker and wife, Jennifer and Phillip R. Parker and wife, Erica; his nine grandchildren, Alexander Parker, Tawnya Parker, Sheyenne Parker, Lucas Parker, Thomas Parker, Connor Parker, Justice Parker, Desi Parker, and Skylar Gibson; one great grandson, Charles Abrams; one sister, Janice M. (Parker) Coon and husband, Charles; and two nieces, Janice and Heidi Coon. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald Parker and James Parker.

Services will be held 10 am, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO. Interment will follow at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby.

A time of visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home, Granby on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Contributions to honor Arthur may be made to the Newton County Cancer Council, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26, Granby, MO 64844.
