Dennis Lynn Bufford, Jr., was born on December 1, 1943, in Wayne, Michigan, to the late, Dennis Lynn Bufford, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Snyder). He passed away in his home on November 10, 2019 following an extended illness.
Dennis and Jeanette were married in 1972 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. Dennis worked in the copper mines in Globe, Arizona before moving to Anderson, Missouri in 1976. He was employed at Sibley Engineering & Manufacturing in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas where he retired as plant manager after over thirty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Fite.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Kathrine Bufford of Anderson, Missouri; a sister Carol Brown of Gladwin, Michigan; five children, Ann Bufford, of Yale, Michigan, Julie Bufford, of Port Huron, Michigan, Darla Chapman, of Anderson, Missouri, Col. James Rector, of Vicenza, Italy and William Rector, of Tucson, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. Brother Darrell Pease will officiate.
