Esterina Mary Wike of Galena, Kansas passed from this life on November 5, 2019 at Galena Nursing Center, she was 87.
She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on April 26, 1932 to Thomas and Mary (McFee) Fusco. She’s lived in the area for 30 years coming from Riverside, California. She married Franklin Thomas Wike and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1986 She worked as a waitress for Sage’s Store in California and also as a Nanny and Caregiver in the area. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She attended Calvary Chapel in Joplin, Missouri.
Mrs. Wike is survived by her two sons David Wike and wife Sandy of Galena, Kansas, Andrew Wike and wife Carol of North Carolina; one daughter Cheryl Swanson and husband Jerry of Euche, Oklahoma. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter Lora Nelson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 16, 2019 at Derfelt Funeral Home in Galena, Kansas. The family has entrusted Derfelt Funeral Home for cremation. Online condolences can be made at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com
