Dorma Lee Able, 92, of Monett entered into eternal rest on Tuesday November 12, 2019 while at her home in Monett. She was born in Long Lane, Missouri on April 18, 1927; the daughter of the late Noble Clifford and Ruby Irene (Potter) Eddingfield. She was united in marriage to John (Jay) Able and he preceded her in death on August 7, 1997.
She was a retired from Jumping Jack Shoes in Monett.
Dorma is survived by one son: Steve Williams of Oronogo, Missouri; two daughters: Terri Mulvaney of Purdy, Missouri and Sonya Lording of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Noble and Ruby; her husband Jay; four brothers: Sheridan, Junior, Kenneth, and Milford Eddingfield and two sisters: Jewell Lanphear and Mildred Wilson.
Memorial visitation for Dorma is being held on Sunday November 17, 2019 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, Missouri.
Memorial donations for Dorma may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, or the Decator Masonic Lodge in Pierce City.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
