Tracie Fields

(From Buchanan Funeral Home)

Tracie Dawn Fields, 43, of Monett, MO, was welcomed to her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

Tracie was born on August 2, 1976 in Grove, OK, daughter of Ralph and Charleene (Painter) Fields. Tracie graduated from College View State School in Joplin. After moving to Monett, Tracie attended Countryside Christian Church.

With a life-long obstacle in front of her because of her handicap, she was the most determined, strong willed fighter you could have ever met. Tracie was very loving and had an array of friends that loved her very much. She touched so many lives and had never met a stranger or anyone that did not deserve a hug or a kiss.

With her fun-loving humor, Tracie’s favorite song was “Wild Thing” and she loved playing with poker chips. Now that she has overcome her battle and has been made whole, she can dance with the Angels in Heaven.

Tracie is survived by her mother, Charleene Fields and step-father, Dan Pierce, of Monett; two sisters, Tina Kelley and husband Sean, of Monett and Dawna Crain and husband Dustin, of Alba; one aunt, Sharon Ostrander, of Chanute, KS; one uncle, Gene Painter and wife Renee, of Edmond, OK; nieces, Breanna, Alyssa and Rose Kelley and Chrissy Abshier; nephews, Joe and Zak Kelley and Matthew, Gabe and Asher Abshier; as well as her Arc Family and a host of extended family and friends.

Tracie was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Fields.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Friends are invited to stay and visit following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Arc of the Ozarks in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
