Bay Daniel Carrier age 46 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 in Columbia, Missouri. He was born on March 8, 1973 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Ronald Carrier and Linda (Youngblood) DeFord.
Bay was a member of the Carterville Christian Church, and had also worked for MVP sports in Galena, Kansas. He loved anything to do with sports, especially watching his children play sports and even coaching them when it was possible. Bay was past president of the Webb City Girls Softball League for many years where he volunteered many hours for one of the many sports he loved. He also had played baseball at Missouri Southern University until a knee injury ended his baseball career.
For the past 7 years he had been the head coach of the Strykers competitive softball team.
He married Tara (Fenske) Carrier on May 27, 1995 in Webb City, Missouri and she survives him at the home.
He is also survived by his parents, his daughter, Bayleigh Carrier of Webb City; his son, Brett Carrier of Webb City; a brother, Chris Carrier of Kennesaw, Georgia; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Carterville Christian Church. The family will be present at the church on Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM for visitation. Burial will follow services in Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in his memory.
