Colene (Stipp) Frencken was born April 17, 1936 in Wanda, Missouri, one of three children to Uhlan and Virginia (Patton) Stipp. She entered into rest on Nov. 16, 2019 in Neosho, following an extended illness at the age of 83.
Colene was a lifelong area resident and graduated from eighth grade at Wanda and then from Midway High School. She had worked at the Newton County Courthouse, Blue Cross / Blue Shield in Tulsa, OK and then completed her working career as secretary for the Triway / East Newton School System where she worked for twenty nine years. Colene enjoyed sports, boating on Table Rock Lake, making trips to Branson and being on the go. She was a member of the Wanda United Methodist Church.
Herbert and Colene Frencken were married on June 26, 1955 in Wanda and Herb survives of the home.
She is also survived by three children, Jeff Frencken of Stark City, Todd Frencken and wife, Jenny of Tiff City and Gina Tinsley and husband, Pat of Pineville; four grandchildren, Megan Smith, Colton Frencken, Tyler Shaver and Callie Jo St. Clair; two great grandchildren, Maverick Frencken and JD St. Clair, and two stepgrandchildren, Sydney Cheatwood and Maci Monsalvo.
In addition to her parents, Colene is preceded in death by two sons, Randy and Jeremy; son in law, J. D. Shaver; one sister, Patsy Stipp Stuffelbeam and one brother, Weymeth Stipp.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 at 2 pm at the Wanda Cemetery, Stark City. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
