Serina LeAnn Wright, age 54, Joplin, passed away at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Communities of Wildwood Ranch, Joplin.
Serina was born August 16, 1965 in Zurich, Switzerland to Marva Woods Laurance and Bruno Gozzi.
Serina was raised in Switzerland and had lived in the United States and Germany before moving to the Joplin area several years ago.
Serina worked as a pottery and photography teacher while in Germany. A homemaker, she enjoyed travel and had a witty sense of humor. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Survivors include her spouse, Alyson Kimberly Wright of Joplin; daughters, Stephanie LeAnne Wright of Branson, Missouri, and Heather Dianne Wright of Joplin; mother, Marva Woods Laurance of Ohio, father, Bruno Gozzi of Nevada, Missouri; stepmother, Anne Bostwick of Nevada, Missouri.
The family is planning a celebration of life for Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Infuxn Kitchen and Cocktails, Vodka Bar, 530 S. Main, Joplin, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
