Camille Hostetter

Dr. Camille Elaine Hostetter, 45, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Monday, November 18, 2019.

Camille entered this life on April 19, 1974, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, born to the union of James and Morgan (Dennis) Hostetter. She was raised in Topeka, Kansas, and was a 1992 graduate of Washburn Rural High School. She furthered her education at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, received her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, and UMKC School of Dentistry. She moved to Joplin, Missouri, in 2008 and in 2009 she established Hostetter Dental. She had a love for helping others and animals of all kinds, especially horses and dogs.

Her mother, Morgan Hostetter, preceded her in death.










Camille is survived by her three children, Madison Hostetter-Hill of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mallory Hostetter-Hill of Joplin and Maximillian Hostetter-Hill, also of Joplin; her father, James Hostetter, of The Villages, Florida; a brother, Mat Hostetter, of Palo Alto, California; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services for Dr. Hostetter are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, in the chapel of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri, with Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiating. Memorials are being directed to the Arkansas University Equine Program c/o the mortuary. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
