Peggy Jo Wilbur was born November 16, 1942 in Milan, MO to Earl and Dorothy (Williams) Wattenbarger. She entered into rest November 29, 2019 in Stark City, MO at the age of 77.
Peggy was a very family orientated person, with her grandchildren and great grandchildren being the highlight of her life. She was formerly employed with Faultless Starch Company as a line worker. She enjoyed flowers, the outdoors, and traveling.
Peggy and Vernon (Eugene) Wilbur were married January 5, 1986 in Miami, OK; Vernon preceded her in death on October 18, 2013.
Peggy is survived by one daughter, Terry Uhrig and husband, Dale of Stark City, MO; two brothers, Donald Wattenbarger of Blue Springs, MO and Max Wattenbarger of Raleigh, NC; three sisters, Nancy Webster of West Plains, MO, Judy Hanley and husband, Clay of Mountain Home, AR, and Kathy McCollum of Lewisburg, TN; three grandchildren, Gina Schaeffer and husband, Joshua of Neosho, MO and Bryanna Jones and fiancé, Cory of Seneca, MO, and Denton Jones and fiancé, Alexa of Neosho, MO; and four great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Jailee, and Jaxyn Schaeffer and Kanton Jones, all of Neosho.
In addition to her husband, Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Carl (Sonny) Wattenbarger, and three sisters, Louise Ford, Amber Quigley, and Helen Dunlap.
A time of visitation will be held December 2, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Private graveside services will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
